My name is Maricel Kuhn. I am a BSN-RN, as well as a board certified Micropigmentologist.
I have the Oklahoma state license for medical micropigmentation which is also known as permanent makeup.
I have many years of experience working as a surgical nurse and as an artist at the Mariposa Gallery on Paseo District before I started managing my husband’s ( John R. Kuhn MD) Otolaryngology Head and Neck practice.
I work under the supervision of Dr. John R. Kuhn Board certified Otolaryngology- Head, Neck and Facial Surgeon.
I have been an artist since 1999, and I absolutely love to paint. I used to show & sell my oil paintings at Mariposa Gallery on Paseo.

If you want to know more about me, I am delighted to tell you. My hobbies include art, cooking and playing tennis. I have been an artist since 1999, and I absolutely love to paint. I am also a devoted wife and a mom who loves to cook, and most of all love to play competitive tennis. Tennis is truly a huge passion of mine.
I work full-time during the day, and play USTA tennis at night. Even with all of that, I still love to party with friends and go fishing with my husband during the weekends. Since I am a hands-on type of individual, I really enjoy everything that I can get my hands into. This is why I have chosen the field of work that I have!
My Practice
Microblading and my tattoo machine for permanent makeup are another tool that I am incredibly passionate about. I really love to be the one to help people enhance their natural beauty. I want to help make their days easier for them as well. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that women wake up in the morning, and like how fresh they appear in the mirror without having to be bothered with putting on makeup and that they are ready to go out and start their day.
I was one of those women who spent hours and hours fixing my face before I stepped out of my house. There was nothing more frustrating than that! However, since I made the decision to have permanent makeup, I not only save plenty of money from buying cosmetic makeup, but I also save myself plenty of time. I want to be the one to help other women be in that position as well!
Why spend money on makeup, as well as time and waste your energy on frustration while struggling to apply it to your face day after day, and hour after hour? Why be stressed out about any of your makeup smudges or not being put on correctly after all of the struggles you dealt with while applying it to your face?
There is no need for that, and this is why I really want to help other women to stop struggling!
I will tell you one example of why I decided to have permanent makeup. Whenever I was on vacation, I worried about whenever I would swim at the pool or at the beach that my face would get wet because of losing my eyebrows and eyeliner. However, after having my eyebrows microbladed and eyeliner tattooed - I no longer need to worry. I can now submerge my head in the water, and come out from swimming while still looking fabulous with my beautiful natural looking eyebrows and liner all intact.
I have done a lot of procedures during my training. I have good surgical technique from my hospital operating room experience. I am very meticulous and a perfectionist.
